Terms of Service
Last updated 1 June 2026
These terms govern your access to and use of Health Hub. By creating an account or using any part of the platform, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are and what Health Hub does
Health Hub connects patients across Kenya, Uganda, and Ethiopia with licensed doctors through a conversational Healthcare Assistant, teleconsultation, and — when clinically indicated — coordinated physical care at specialist hospitals in India.
Health Hub is a care-coordination and teleconsultation platform. It is not itself a medical provider. Clinical decisions are made by the licensed practitioners you consult through the service.
2. Not for emergencies
Health Hub is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency — including chest pain, difficulty breathing, signs of stroke, severe bleeding, or thoughts of self-harm — call your local emergency number or go to the nearest hospital immediately.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or use the platform under the supervision of a parent or guardian, to hold an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
Doctors and partners may only consult or transact after completing verification. Doctors cannot provide consultations until their professional registration is verified.
4. The Healthcare Assistant
The Healthcare Assistant gathers your symptoms and history to prepare a structured summary for a clinician. It classifies, scores, and summarises — it does not diagnose or prescribe. A licensed doctor reviews your case before any clinical decision is made.
5. Payments and refunds
Consultation, referral-coordination, and partner-service fees are shown before you confirm. Payments are processed by our regional payment partners. Refund eligibility depends on the service and is described at the point of purchase.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform, attempt to access data that isn't yours, impersonate others, or upload unlawful or harmful content. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or that we reasonably believe put patient safety or data security at risk.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. We'll post the revised version here with a new effective date and, where the change is material, notify you in the app.
